Electromechanical equipment

Electromechanical installation and maintenance at solar sites: inverters, mounting structures, LV cable laying, RS cabling and fibre optic splicing.

String inverter installed on a steel mounting structure at a solar site

Overview

On a solar site, the electromechanical work ties the plant together: the structures the modules sit on, the inverters, and the LV, communication and fibre optic cables that connect them.

Our crews lay LV and RS cables, install inverters and mounting structures, and splice and test fibre optic cables. We also maintain this equipment once the plant is running.

What's included

  • LV cable laying
  • Inverter installation
  • Mounting structure installation
  • RS cable laying and termination
  • Fibre optic cable (FOC) splicing
  • OTDR testing of fibre optic cables
  • Maintenance of installed equipment
For our core work, see the LV cable termination page and the MC4 termination and solar DC works page.

Typical sites

  • Utility-scale solar plants
  • Inverter and transformer stations
  • Solar PV arrays
